Event Description: The classes are open to everyone. The clear round days provide a relaxed environment to practice around the hunter trials course without the pressure of a competition. Hunter Trials is a perfect test between horse and rider over a cross country course. A great test for riders of all abilities, our event will include classes from 70cm up to 1.00m. Competitors will tackle a flagged, numbered and dressed cross country course.

All courses will include a water complex and benefit from well-built fences and the use of the undulating ground. The going is usually good due to the sandy soil, but ground care will be carried out if necessary.  

Classes: 70cm | 80cm | 90cm | 1.00m

Dress Code: XC attire including body protector and correct hat and footwear.

Time: Running in the daytime, the start time will depend upon the number of entries.

Late Entries: Please note entries will close 48 hours prior to the competition. Anyone wanting to enter within the 48-hour period will need to send an email to admin@kelsallhill.co.uk with all the correct details and a member of staff will inform you if we can fit the entry in. Any late email entries will incur a late entry fee of £3 per entry. The email must include your rider name, contact number, horse name and the classes you wish to compete in.

Refund Policy: Our refund policy is if you withdraw your entry within the 48 hours prior to the competition we will not be able to offer a refund or transfer of entry. If you cancel 48 hours prior to the competition you will receive a refund minus a £4 admin charge per entry. Please note all withdrawals need to be put in writing to admin@kelsallhill.co.uk and refunds are issued over the phone not automatically, please call the office.  We do not offer transfer of entries.

Refreshments: Urchins Kitchen will be open all day providing hot and cold refreshments and food.
