Summer arena eventing takes place around the ponds.
The event will be held with the warm up in the Lake Side arena, competitors then cross the sand track and the event course meanders around the ponds, the surface is grass. The course will be designed and built by Gilly Milner, incorporating show jumps and cross country fences to test both horse and rider. Courses change after each competition
The classes are open to everyone. No British Eventing membership is required. Competitors must be 11 on the 1st January unless your parent or guardian accept you are under the age of 11 and safe to compete. Proof will be required by submitting 3 event completion results.
Courses start at 70cm and rise to 1.00m, we don’t normally offer a 1.10m option.
Please note entries will close 48 hours prior to the competition. Anyone wanting to enter within the 48 hour period will need to send an email to admin@kelsallhill.co.uk with all the correct details and a member of staff will inform you if we can fit the entry in. Any late email entries will incur a late entry fee of £3 per entry. The email must include your rider name, contact number, horse name and the classes you wish to compete in.
Our refund policy is if you withdraw your entry within the 48 hours prior to the competition we will not be able to offer a refund or transfer of entry. If you cancel 48 hours prior to the competition you will receive a refund minus a £4 admin charge per entry. Please note all withdrawals need to be put in writing to admin@kelsallhill.co.uk and refunds are issued over the phone not automatically, please call the office. We do not offer transfer of entries.
Urchins Kitchen will be open all day providing hot and cold refreshments and food.
