Would you like to recognise when your horse is stressed, anxious or in pain?

A better understanding of how horses communicate and being able to read their body language can help you improve your relationship with your horse and give you the confidence to make better-informed choices about riding, handling and training, as well as keeping you safe every day.

Equine behaviour consultant Justine Harrison will be looking at the subtle body language signals horses display when they are stressed or uncomfortable that often go unnoticed. Being able to recognise your horse’s signs of stress can give you the ability to spot physical problems before they become major issues. Recognising the early signs of fear and tension can help keep you safe as your horse won’t need to perform larger, more dangerous behaviours. This talk will help you benefit from an improved understanding of how your own horse behaves, how they communicate with each other and with us as well as gaining new practical skills to recognise when your horse is stressed, frightened, relaxed or in pain.

Ticket prices: £50 per person without food or £60 per person with food. if you opt for with food it will include a choice of either chilli or lasagne with a dressed salad, chips and garlic bread. We do have a choice of vegetarian options too. Plus a drink of your choice, bubbles, beer, soft drinks, cans or water.
