DESCRIPTION:\nEntries are OPEN: CLICK HERE\n\n\n\nWhat is Compact Eventing? It is a new competition we are trying out! It will consist of a dressage test, followed by an arena eventing round on our course around the ponds on grass. This will consist of 5 or 6 show jumps followed by approximately 12 cross country style fences.\n\n\n\nClasses: Intro 1 & 40cm | Intro 1 & 60cm | Prelim 1 & 70cm | Prelim 3 & 80cm | BE96 & 90cm | BE108 & 1.00m\n\n\n\nPrice: £42 per entry.\n\n\n\nLocation: The Dressage phase will be in the Grandstand Indoor Arena (72m x 45m) with Warm up in the Primrose Indoor Arena (60m x 30m). The Arena Eventing phase will be held on our field around the ponds.\n\n\n\nEvent Description: The course will incorporate show jumps and cross-country fences to test both horse and rider. The classes are open to everyone. No British Eventing membership is required. Competitors must be 11 on the 1st January unless your parent or guardian accept you are under the age of 11 and safe to compete. Proof will be required by submitting 3 event completion results.\n\n\n\nDress Code: For the dressage phase, the dress code is smart competition attire. Plaiting is optional. For the arena eventing phase, the dress code is XC attire including body protector and correct hat and footwear.\n\n\n\nTime: Running in the daytime, the exact start time will depend upon the number of entries.\n\n\n\nLate Entries: Please note entries will close 48 hours prior to the competition. Anyone wanting to enter within the 48-hour period will need to send an email to admin@kelsallhill.co.uk with all the correct details and a member of staff will inform you if we can fit the entry in. Any late email entries will incur a late entry fee of £3 per entry. The email must include your rider’s name, contact number, horse name and the classes you wish to compete in.\n\n\n\nRefund Policy: Our refund policy is if you withdraw your entry within the 48 hours prior to the competition we will not be able to offer a refund or transfer of entry. If you cancel 48 hours prior to the competition you will receive a refund minus a £4 admin charge per entry. Please note all withdrawals need to be put in writing to admin@kelsallhill.co.uk and refunds are issued over the phone not automatically, please call the office.  We do not offer transfer of entries.\n\n\n\nRefreshments: Urchins Kitchen will be open all day providing hot and cold refreshments and food.\n
