Showing Show and classes will be judged according to the individual class requirements and overall suitability, manners, presentation and turnout.\n\n\n\nThe judge’s decision is final.\n\n\n\nThe welfare of all horses and ponies must be the first priority at all times.\n\n\n\nCompetitors must ride and handle their horses and ponies in a safe and responsible manner.\n\n\n\nCorrect and suitable tack, riding attire and turnout are expected for all classes.\n\n\n\nHard hats meeting current recognised safety standards must be worn whenever mounted.\n\n\n\nCompetitors must be appropriately dressed for the class entered.\n\n\n\nHorses and ponies must be fit, sound and suitable to compete.\n\n\n\nThe organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry, cancel or combine classes where necessary.\n\n\n\nClasses may be split at the organiser’s discretion where entries warrant.\n\n\n\nThe judge may request individual shows, a ride around or any other demonstration considered necessary to assist with judging.\n\n\n\nExcessive use of whips, spurs or harsh handling will not be tolerated.\n\n\n\nThe organisers accept no responsibility for loss, damage, injury or accident to competitors, spectators, horses, ponies, vehicles or property, except where legally required.\n\n\n\nCompetitors enter and participate at their own risk.\n\n\n\nAll competitors must comply with the venue’s rules and any instructions given by the show organisers or stewards.\n\n\n\n1st and 2nd place are invited forward to the relevant Championship, where applicable.\n\n\n\nChampionship qualification will be confirmed by the steward before leaving the ring.\n\n\n\nCompetitors must be correctly entered into the qualifying class to be eligible for a Championship.\n\n\n\nThe organisers ponies 3 and under.\n\n\n\nJudged on conformation, type, movement, condition, manners, presentation and future potential.\n\n\n\nYoungstock should be presented safely and appropriately for their age.\n\n\n\n1st and 2nd place invited to the Ring 1 Championship.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCLASS 2 – IN-HAND NOVICE HORSE & PONY\n\n\n\nOpen to novice horses and ponies with limited showing experience.\n\n\n\nJudged on conformation, manners, movement, presentation, suitability and overall impression.\n\n\n\nThe class is intended for genuine novice animals and is not intended for established showing combinations.\n\n\n\n1st and 2nd place invited to the Ring 1 Championship.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCLASS 3 – IN-HAND YOUNG HANDLER\n\n\n\nOpen to young handlers 12yrs and under.\n\n\n\nJudged on the handler’s ability to safely and confidently present their horse or pony, including leading, standing, turning and presenting the animal to the judge.\n\n\n\nThe judge may take the handler’s age and experience into consideration.\n\n\n\n1st and 2nd place invited to the Ring 1 Championship.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCLASS 4 – IN-HAND HUNTER / HUNTER TYPE\n\n\n\nOpen to horses and ponies of suitable hunter type.\n\n\n\nJudged on conformation, bone, substance, movement, manners, condition, presentation and overall hunter type.\n\n\n\n1st and 2nd place invited to the Ring 1 Championship.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCLASS 5 – IN-HAND COBS – HOGGED OR HAIRY\n\n\n\nOpen to suitable cob types, whether hogged or traditionally hairy.\n\n\n\nJudged on cob type, conformation, bone, substance, feather where applicable, movement, manners, condition and presentation.\n\n\n\n1st and 2nd place invited to the Ring 1 Championship.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCLASS 6 – IN-HAND MINIATURE
